April Fool's Day - French Style
Join us on April Fool's Day (or Poisson d'Avril) for laughter, jokes and lots of chocolate, as is the French way.
In France, on 1st April, children and adults traditionally tack paper fishes on the backs of unsuspecting victims as a prank and to great hilarity loudly shout 'Poisson d'Avril!' when the fish is discovered.
Anyone dining at Brasserie Zédel on Friday 1st April 2016 will be given a customary chocolate fish, as well as a paper fish which they are encouraged to stick to other people's backs. Those sending in the funniest photographs with the hashtag #PoissondAvril and #BrasserieZedel via Twitter or Instagram will win a prix fixe meal for two.
