  • Richard Shelton’s masterful, award-winning show reveals the man behind the music returns to Crazy Coqs – for 1-night only – following a sold-out run in Los Angeles, New York, Australia, London and the UK tour.

You are invited. The Purple Room, Palm Springs, California, 1971. Frank Sinatra faces retirement. The air is electric, and the crowd jockey for position at Sinatra’s last intimate show. But times are changing as the Rolling Stones and David Bowie dominate the music scene. Sinatra’s eyes are red-rimmed, and his face has grown craggy with booze, cigarettes and memories. Things take an unexpected turn when he drinks ‘One For My Baby’ too many. This is the 2 am Sinatra you dream of meeting. Dangerous. Unpredictable. Brilliant.’

“Shelton as Sinatra is quite simply phenomenal” – BBC Music

“Pure alchemy. Somehow, and so subtly, Shelton contrived to convince the audience he WAS Sinatra” – UK Jazz Journal, 2023

    “Masterful – a must-see. Shelton’s vocals are remarkable” – The Times

“An extraordinary contribution to our understanding of a colossus of 20th-century culture. This was Cate Blanchett as Queen Elizabeth I or Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles. Someone who isn’t offering a cheap reproduction but instead an imaginative and original contribution to our understanding of heroes and their humanity.” – The American

“This show packs a surprising emotional punch, and Shelton delivers terrific versions of Sinatra’s greatest hits. No wonder the production sells out all over the world.” – The Spectator

“Outstanding – from the opening notes of ‘A Very Good Year’, Richard Shelton is remarkable, completely transforming into the great man so you would believe he was back in the room with you!” – Broadway World

    “Superlative!” – Musical Theatre Review

“Incredible show delves just as deeply into the Sinatra, the man and the myth, as it does the music.” – Adelaide Advertiser
