  • Show Description
  • It’s 2071…and the whole world is LGBTQ.

Voguing and lip syncing are categories in the Olympics.

There is a statue of George Michael on Hampstead Heath.

    And Starbucks own Pride (boo!).

Forty-seven years ago, in 1977, setting out to create the sound of the future, Donna Summer recorded queer anthem ‘I Feel Love’. But what will life REALLY be like for queer people in 2071, forty-seven years from now?

Join playwright and performer Alexis Gregory (‘Riot Act’ & ‘Neon Divine’, Crazy Coqs) on a wild, provocative, hilarious, unexpected, and thought provoking romp through an imagined LGBTQ+ future.

FutureQueer is part theatre, stand-up comedy, DIY queer lecture, pop-culture commentary, and meditation on disco music as a metaphor for queer survival.

In February 2024, FutureQueer was the first show to get a run at the new Kings Head Theatre building’s cabaret space, with several sell-out acclaimed performances.
