The Crazy Coqs Presents concert series, created and produced by Mark Robert Petty, is very proud to announce Kieran Brown…Intimate and Live.
Kieran is a Scottish-born actor with several West End and International stage and television credits accumulated during his 28-year career.
Accompanied by a live band under musical supervision by acclaimed MD Niall Bailey, Kieran will be joined by Gina Beck (Guys and Dolls, Matilda, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Show Boat, Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables) and Tom Scanlon (Burlesque, Mrs. Doubtfire, Heathers, Kinky Boots, Dirty Dancing) to present an intimate evening of songs and stories from his career, from the West End to the far east, from Blackheath to Broadway! Some of the finest tunes from some of the world’s greatest composers combine with a selection of forgotten (or unheard of) rarely performed gems, alongside some more familiar musical and popular music hits!
After making his West End debut in the world’s longest-running musical, Les Misérables, Kieran went on to appear in a string of West End musicals, including Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies and Wicked. He also understudied and played the role of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre for two years to huge critical acclaim. As an actor, he has appeared in several plays at Vienna’s prestigious English Theatre, including The Woman in Black, The Importance of Being Earnest, Animal Farm and Beyond Therapy.
His work on television has included the iconic Scottish crime thriller Taggart, and BBC dramas Traces and Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased). Most recently, Kieran understudied and played the roles of King Charles II / Talbot Edwards and Colonel Blood in a new Restoration comedy, The Crown Jewels, alongside Al Murray, Neil Morrissey and Mel Giedroyc at the Garrick Theatre, London, followed by a UK tour. Immediately prior to this, he played the role of the mysterious Mr Paravicini in the 70th anniversary production of Agatha Christie’s play The Mousetrap as it toured the UK. Internationally, he has appeared across the globe in Maury Yeston’s multi-award-winning musical Titanic and appeared as one of The Three Phantoms in Macau and Singapore.
He has been an original member of musical supergroup The Barricade Boys since its inception, and has travelled all over the world with the group, presenting their show as far away as New Zealand and South America—culminating in 2 sold-out, five-star-reviewed performances earlier this year at Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York, and a sold-out, multiple five-star-reviewed show at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
