Celebrate La Fête des Rois at Brasserie Zédel
Join us at Brasserie Zédel for our much-loved Epiphany celebrations in London, as we mark La Fête des Rois – the traditional French festival of kings.
An Evening of French Feasting and Festivity
Returning on Tuesday 6th January 2026 from 5pm, our Epiphany event at Brasserie Zédel promises an unforgettable evening filled with French charm. Enjoy live French music, a complimentary glass of crémant, bespoke Zédel crowns, and of course, the iconic Galette des Rois: the traditional puff-pastry and frangipane cake served across France during this time of year.
Each table will receive its own slice of Galette des Rois. Hidden inside some slices is a ‘fève’ – a tiny king charm. If your table finds one, your entire meal will be on the house. A royal treat to remember!

What Is La Fête des Rois?
La Fête des Rois (literally “Festival of Kings”) is a beloved French tradition that celebrates Epiphany, the moment when the Three Wise Men visited the baby Jesus. Traditionally marked on 6th January, families across France share a Galette des Rois, a round, golden cake symbolising the sun and renewal. The person who finds the hidden fève inside the cake becomes “king” or “queen” for the day, crowned with paper or gold crowns – a joyful custom we’re delighted to recreate here at Zédel.
Dress Like Royalty
Whilst not required, regal attire is heartily encouraged to make the evening even more memorable. And back by popular demand, we’ll be offering souvenir Zédel crowns for all diners in the brasserie after 5pm – a perfect keepsake from a night of French celebration.
