Rob Fowler and Sharon Sexton first met when they were cast opposite each other in the leading roles of Falco and Sloane in the original production of Jim Steinman's hit musical Bat Out Of Hell. The two received rave reviews for their performances, with many critics paying particular praise to their unique vocal and musical chemistry in their on stage duets. It wasn't long before they began writing together. They released their duets album "Vision of You" in December 2018 and have been successfully touring a stage production of the same name for the past 8 months, enjoying sold out performances in Manchester, Peterborough and London, including 5 sell outs at the Crazy Coqs so far this year.
Rob and Sharon are delighted to be returning to this beautiful venue, this time to present some of their new original work for the very first time, before they embark on the UK and International Tour of Mamma Mia, once more playing opposite each other in the leading roles of Donna and Sam.
Previous song writing credits for Rob include writing the official song for the European Handball Final Championship with Beat 4 Feet, "Do It Like Us", which he recently performed in the Lanxess Arena, in Cologne in front of 20,000 people. He has also enjoyed chart success as the frontman of rock band Morton, most notably with his songs "Sorry" and "Irish Girl". Some of the numbers presented this evening will also be from his original musical "The Boy Next Door", written by Rob, with some additional compositions from Sharon and the book by the Olivier award winning writer, Stephen Clark.
