Paul Ryan and Kenny Clayton return to the Crazy Coqs with another selection from their vast repertoire of classics and rarities from the Great American Songbook and beyond. Their jazz-inflected performances of Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, the Gershwins, Hoagy Carmichael and other fine songwriters are shot through with their trademark brand of irreverent humour which highlights their unique rapport not only with each other but with audiences.

Paul was a favourite vocalist of the late jazz critic Jack Massarik while Kenny is simply one of the UK's most acclaimed pianists, composers and arrangers whose long career has seen him as musical director for such major stars as Petula Clark, Matt Monro, Charles Aznavour and Dick Haymes.

"An evening with Paul Ryan is a rare treat. He has the sublime gift of putting an audience at their ease…Everything is guaranteed to make you feel better." - Sir Michael Palin

"All the verve, vigour and joie de vivre of a couple of rakes who have lived full and interesting lives…like the jazz heroes of old!" - Rick Star,

"Effortlessly stylish interpretations of the Great American Songbook…Ryan's witty delivery is complemented by the quietly authentic genius of Clayton's playing." - Cary Gee, Tribune
