Jeremy Sassoon is one of the UK's most in-demand singer/pianists. Either solo, or accompanied by his band, he captivates audiences with his natural, soulful voice, his strong and charismatic personality, and a repertoire of his arrangements of jazz, blues, groove and soul classics.

Sassoon is the UK's premier artist tributing the music of Ray Charles with his big band, Ray Charles Project, and, at Crazy Coqs for one night, will celebrate Charles' repertoire along with other musical legends that have inspired his own career, including Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Diana Krall, Carole King, Randy Newman and Nat King Cole, to name a few. Sassoon will also feature some tracks from his newly released live album; recorded at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho.

In 2014, he recorded his version of the beautiful Marc Cohn song The Things We've Handed Down which was then featured on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs as the castaway's favourite, and then hit no.1 in the iTunes vocal download chart.

"A charming and witty frontman, one of his skills being that he can make the audience feel immediately at ease" - London Jazz News
