Christian Holder returns to Crazy Coqs after an enthusiastically received debut at New York's Feinstein's/54 Below.

Through song, narration and dance, his new show shines a spotlight on how his vivid theatrical life in London and New York entered the orbits of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Christian will be joined by musical director, David Clement-Smith, and with musical supervision by Philip Foster.

"It will be a long time before I have such an engrossing evening in the theatre (I use that word advisedly). Although the performance was in cabaret - it was THEATRE!" - Steve Ross

"Nothing about an evening of Christian Holder in cabaret is what you might expect it to be…As someone whose life was so heavily influenced by the dance, it pervades every inch of his being, and can be mesmerising to watch…It's an evening of cabaret I'd certainly recommend!" -

"Holder's artistry was well known in the dance world in New York for decades. To see him emerge now, as a singer and storyteller, bringing his fascinating life to audiences in the most entertaining way with classic songs, leaves me gob-smacked!" - Donna McKechnie, Tony Award winner
