  • Paulus AKA The Cabaret Geek is an entertainer and educator with thirty years’ experience in the field of cabaret. He is perhaps best-known for his appearances on BBC1’s prime-time award-winning TV show ‘All Together Now’ as the most hard-to-impress judge in ‘The Hundred’.  Paulus’ career spans three decades working both in and out of drag, including international performances in Melbourne, New York, Berlin, Nicaragua, Paris and Rome and teaching the art of cabaret in London, Paris & Chicago.  His portrayal of Sylvia St. Croix in the UK premiere of the musical, ‘Ruthless!’ won him the Musical Stages award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’ in 2002, and fringreport celebrated his contribution to the cabaret scene with a ‘Best Producer’ award a few years later. Paulus originated the role of Philip Salon in the workshop stages of the Boy George musical, ‘Taboo’ and is widely hailed as instrumental in the resurgence of cabaret in London in at the turn of the century alongside other stalwarts of the genre.
