It’s only taken Sharon Sassy Jazz until Perimenopause to finally ask for what she really, really wants! What took her so long!

Influenced and inspired by the no nonsense, sassy lyrics sang by Peggy Lee, Eartha Kitt, Billie Holiday, Blondie and more. Sharon went from being a naive spring chicken to finding her voice and becoming a middle aged toughened old chook!

Welsh-born singer Sharon Lenihan spent seventeen years living in Australia. Years later, after being whisked away in fairytale fashion from the sandy beaches of Perth, she now calls London her home.

Sharon was destined to be on the stage. Her mother recalls a very sassy four-year-old standing on the garden wall, ‘hairbrush microphone’ in hand, belting out Lena Zavaroni’s ‘Ma He’s Making Eyes at Me!’ to her adoring audience (of neighbourhood children)!

After years as a hairstylist, Sharon decided to seek out another creative outlet. One that would make people feel as good as a new hair cut…and the singing star surfaced once again! After completing a Bachelors degree in Music and Performance at the London Centre of Contemporary Music, Sharon picked up a real microphone this time.
