  • Crazy Coqs welcomes back Seth Sikes for the first time since his sold-out show in 2017.

Celebrate the 100th birthday of Judy Garland, the ultimate icon, with Sikes, one of today’s most popular interpreters of her work.

Hailed as “the best male singer of his generation” by Theatre Scene, Sikes will perform many of the show-stopping standards for which Judy is known, along with some lesser-known gems, in his own style and he will recount how Garland captivated him as a young boy.

His debut show, Seth Sikes Sings Judy Garland captured Broadway World’s Best Tribute Show award and The New York Times said, “The performance — less an impression of Ms. Garland than an interpretation of her vibrato-heavy method of belting – was a hit!”

“I enjoyed every minute of his act. It’s the best tribute to Garland I’ve ever seen.” – Theater Scene

“Sikes doesn’t aim for a direct impersonation, but rather a heartfelt homage with a contemporary feel. Absolute joy. Incredibly moving. Don’t miss it!” – Huffington Post

  • Seth Sikes is one of New York’s most acclaimed nightclub performers and has been selling out venues since his 2015 debut Seth Sikes Sings Judy Garland. The show recounted how Garland inspired Sikes as a young boy in Texas, while he belted Garland’s greatest hits with a seven-piece band. The show won Broadway World’s Best Tribute Show award and prompted The New York Times to declare, “The performance — less an impression of Ms. Garland than an interpretation of her vibrato-heavy method of belting – was a hit.”

When the Covid pandemic prevented Sikes from performing for live audiences, he created a series of hilarious music videos that have gone viral, seen by hundreds of thousands online. His video, “Ring Them Bells,” was selected to close the globally watched Liza Minnelli 75th birthday tribute.

Before becoming one of New York’s most talked-about performers, Sikes worked in the theater behind the scenes. He was Associate Director for The Band’s Visit and The Nance on Broadway (starring Nathan Lane and directed by Jack O’Brien), and for Off-Broadway productions of Tribes (directed by David Cromer) and Pageant.  Additional Associate Director credits include Sondheim: The Birthday Concert (directed by Lonny Price), and Sweet Bird of Youth (directed by David Cromer and starring Diane Lane).

Seth Sikes directed the original musical Bunked!, which won Outstanding Musical at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2010, as well as The 7th Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant.  Sikes also performed Off-Broadway in Fame on 42nd Street.
