  • “Sandy Walsh is a faultless performer with the audience rapport and genorosity of delivery of the greatest of her profession.” – The Scotsman

Following sell out performances at Crazy Coqs, award winning actress Sandy Walsh returns with a fundraiser for Save the Children. Sandy will be performing an eclectic mix of songs, sketches from her one woman shows and singer Jenny Howe will be making a guest appearance.

Sandy is thrilled that BBC presenter Kasia Madera has agreed to join her on stage for this special event. At the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Kasia was one of the first interventional journalists to report live from the Poland Ukraine border. Her father was born in Lviv so Kasia has a strong connection with the region. She regularly returns to Poland to report on the refugee crisis.

As well as tunes to get your feet tapping and your heart beating, stories to make you laugh and cry, Sandy will be finding out from Kasia what it was like to move from the safety of the studio in London to a war zone. Sandy will once again be accompanied by Tom Wakely who over the years has worked extensively in London’s West End, his last job was Assistant Conductor on the musical Chicago.

Children of Wars written by Sandy and arranged by Anton Browne will be sung for the first time in public at this performance. All proceeds from the show will be going to Save the Children.
