Robert Mitchell, award-winning and critically acclaimed pianist, composer, piano festival creator, curator, lyricist, and true innovator, presents this acclaimed trio featuring the brilliant Tom Mason on bass and Saleem Raman on drums.

The band reflects the spirit of humanistic thought and freedom present in the composer’s work – their rapport is truly special. They present music from Mitchell’s brilliant album entitled  A Vigil For Justice. A Vigil For Peace (2017), as well as the release that followed it in 2018, the EP Epiphany (both received widespread critical recognition).

The music, interspersed with Robert Mitchell’s poetry and spoken word, is a vivid commentary on the current times. Robert has released 16 albums, 4 poetry collections (in a new hardback compilation for 2026) and has been a Steinway Artist since 2009.
