Rachel Sutton’s Christmas Show

Rachel Sutton is renowned for her lively and emotive style, and her background in theatre adds an extra dimension to her performances, which are both exciting and moving for her audiences (“Rachel is a sublime live talent” Close-Up Culture). Tonight, she will be singing beautiful Jazz arrangements of Christmas cheer and timeless classics, full of warmth, style, and humour.

Rachel has performed sell-out gigs at top London Jazz clubs as well as venues and festivals across the UK and abroad. Her role in Lansky: The Mob’s Money Man at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank and Cadogan Hall received wide acclaim, with London Jazz News calling Rachel a “stand out performer… a revelation”. Her theatrical training is at the core of every song, and her flair for entertainment and easy rapport with an audience has gained her a first-class reputation.

Amongst Rachel’s band members is a very fine headline act in his own right – the versatile and brilliant Roland Perrin. On drums, the extraordinary Paul Robinson, who played with Nina Simone for many years, and the contagious grooves of the brilliant Michael Curtis Ruiz on bass.
