The Sound of Julie is a celebration of Dame Julie Andrews.

You will be taken on a journey of discovery into the career of this legendary star, with stories and songs from The Boyfriend, My Fair Lady, Camelot, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Victor Victoria.

Find out what Rex Harrison really thought of his co-star in My Fair Lady and why Julie refused her nomination for the prestigious Tony Award for Victor Victoria.

The Sound of Julie stars West End actress Nova Skipp, accompanied by her musical director, plus a very special guest from musical theatre.

Nova Skipp has appeared in many West End musicals, from ‘Aspects of Love’ to The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Salad Days’, ‘Chess in Concert’, and ‘The Sound of Music’.

The Sound of Julie was originally directed by the late Colin Skipp, who played Tony Archer in the award-winning BBC radio series The Archers.

The special guest joining Nova Skipp will be West End star Christopher Dickins, who has just finished playing Harry in the West End production of ‘Mamma Mia’. He has appeared in many West End shows, including ‘The Sound of Music’ (London Palladium), ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ (His Majesty’s), ‘War Horse’ (New London), and ‘Blood Brothers’ (Phoenix). He was also part of the original tour of ‘Mary Poppins’.
