Moments By Sondheim, starring Simon Loughton and Julez Hamilton, celebrates the genius that was and will forever be Stephen Sondheim.

Enjoy as they deliver some of the key elements of his writing with a selection of songs from Company, Follies, Into The Woods and many more.

Simon Loughton is an actor, singer and occasional tap dancer from Perth, Western Australia. Since graduating from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and the Royal Academy of Music in London, Simon has travelled the world performing in musicals such as Sunset Boulevard, Godspell, We Will Rock You and singing with The 12 Tenors and The 4Tunes.

Hailing from the Cotswolds, Julez Hamilton trained as a classical soprano, graduating from Mountview in 2001, following which she branched into musical theatre.  As a jazz cabaret artist, Julez has performed in the US and across the continent, and in the UK she has brought her talents to Ronnie Scott’s, The Ritz, St James’ Studio, the Drury Club, The Pheasantry and most recently Godspell and Funny and Fabulous the Music of Kander and Ebb at Crazy coqs. 

Her theatre credits include Iago (Othello), Gwendolyn (The Importance Of Being Earnest), Lucy (Mother Figure at the Criterion), the Witch (Into The Woods), Mazeppa (Gypsy) and Side By Side By Sondheim (the Barbican).  Her opera credits include Musetta (la Bohème), Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute) and Marguerite (Faust, for Bath Opera).
