Cabaret favourite on both sides of the Atlantic, Lorna Dallas, returns to Crazy Coqs with her sparkling new show “The Cabaret Files,” a delightful retrospective featuring musical arrangements crafted for her by her American collaborators of the past thirty five years, musical director Christopher Denny and director Barry Kleinbort. Along with re-visiting perennials by Jerome Kern, Michel Legrand, Stephen Sondheim and James Taylor, Lorna will premiere a few intriguing items created for previous shows that never made the cut. With the ever redoubtable Simon Beck at the piano, the award winning Ms. Dallas offers a choice musical evening not to be missed.

“Catch Dallas while you can!” – Cabaret Scenes
“Some cabaret singers age gracefully, others disgracefully but the unique voice of the great American Lorna Dallas doesn’t seem to age at all. The top notes are as rich and thrilling as ever, the personality as warm and every word an object lesson in how to deliver a song and tell a story. A masterclass” – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeremy Chapman, Musical Theatre Review
“What a joyous and emotional encounter with the super classy LORNA DALLAS. They really don’t make them like this anymore…” – Ed Seckerson
“Blown away by her charm, delightful reminiscences and beautiful voice! Lorna Dallas has a delightful personality, brimming with charisma that, from her first appearance, she engages the audience with her joy of performance, soaring soprano voice and clear and precise diction. Her eyes sparkle, her smile charms, and she sings with such passion that she sells each song with authentic emotion. Her eyes draw in the audience adding to the intimacy as she makes each member feel like she is singing to them alone.” – WESTENDBESTFRIEND.COM
