  • Show Description
  • What do Led Zeppelin, Chaka Khan and The Great Escape have in common?

Absolutely nothing – except, that is, that all of the above feature in Lana-May’s new, weird and wonderful show of expertly arranged jazz covers. Songs you know and love by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Nirvana, Jefferson Airplane, Kiss and many more – only if they were performed in the underground Gin Bars of 1930s New Orleans and Montmartre. Expect the same hot jazz and filthy blues, but with new twists, turns, and maybe even a few special effects thrown in for good measure.

After two sell out shows at The Crazy Coqs in 2022, captivating multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Lana-May, along with her incredible hot jazz band, are back by popular demand and ready to take you on an immersive cabaret-jazz journey through some of the greatest songs of the 20th Century.

Featuring George Webster on Piano, Callum Smith on Drums, Mike Comber on Double Bass and of course, the outrageously fabulous Lana-May on clarinet, soprano saxophone, vocals and any other instrument she can get her hands on.
