Karen Lane, originally from Perth, Australia, has been a lover of Brazilian music for over a decade, first singing the repertoire in English on her applauded Album TASTE and more recently in Portuguese on her album Passarim.

Lane is a rare breed of singer who uses subtle, intimate phrasing and interprets songs with great depth and sensitivity. Her impeccable pitching and rhythmic sensibility will have you feeling like you are basking in an ocean of tranquillity on a balmy night. Her vocal delivery embodies the wisdom of one who has experienced a myriad of life’s loves and losses.
