  • After a decade of international touring her original music with various line-ups, join the award-winning JULIA BIEL as she alights at Crazy Coqs for a special solo performance, taking her ‘Black and White’ album series as the springboard for an evening of electrifying sonic landscapes comprised solely of piano and voice.

Simultaneous improvisations on both piano and voice ranging from thunderous sonority given total abandon, hard grooves or passages of meditative calm and spoken word are interwoven with her critically acclaimed original songs that have been praised by some of the best in the business, including
Bob Dylan who invited her to open for his gala concert in Stuttgart in 2019, Ben Watt with whom she has twice collaborated, Jamie Cullum and Alabaster dePlume to name a few.

Those who have experienced her unmistakable voice and earthy and organic artistic vision first-hand, speak of a spell-binding and engrossing experience that involves the audience and the room almost as band members themselves. With each concert a seamless flow of free improvisation interwoven with in the-moment renditions of her original songs, expect a performance that is a journey to its own unique destination.
