Georgina Jackson & Jamie Safir

Georgina Jackson is a world-renowned Jazz Vocalist and award-winning trumpet player, and is joined for the first time at Crazy Coqs by the esteemed musical director and pianist extraordinaire, Jamie Safir (Kylie Minogue, Will Young, Ronnie Scott’s All Stars).

Originally hailing from Wigan, Georgina has astounded critics and audiences all over the world, including stunning performances at Ronnie Scott’s (as resident singer with the RS Jazz Orchestra), Friday Night Is Music Night Live on BBC Radio 2 and as one of the headline performers at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in Hollywood.

In 2012, her second album ‘Watch What Happens’ shot to the top of the iTunes Jazz Charts, and later that year, the BBC Big Band asked Georgina to perform a concert of the songs of Peggy Lee that was broadcast live on BBC Radio 2. Georgina now works internationally as a cabaret artist performing her entertaining trumpet/vocal shows on the world’s most prestigious cruise lines.
