  • Join Tyrone Huntley and Ellie Nunn as they celebrate the timeless, mellifluous music of Burt Bacharach.

Bacharach’s partnership with the elite lyricist Hal David launched a career spanning eight decades and led to the creation of a sensational back catalogue of songs including WALK ON BY, WHAT’S NEW PUSSYCAT?, I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF and I SAY A LITTLE PRAYER, (gosh they wrote some bangers!)

Anyone who had a heart (oof) would come along and enjoy an hour of Bacharach’s enduring musical genius, the unofficial soundtrack of many of our lives, performed lovingly by old friends Ellie and Tyrone.

Tyrone is best known for his performance as Judas in the hit revival of Jesus Christ Superstar (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), which earned him an Evening Standard Theatre Award and an Olivier Award nomination. He also appeared in the original London casts of musicals Memphis, Dreamgirls, The Book of Mormon and The View Upstairs.
His performance as Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (The Watermill Theatre), received an Ian Charleson award commendation and he was nominated for The Stage Debut Award for his directorial debut Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Mercury Theatre)

Tyrone is delighted to be back in London and sharing a stage with his oldest friend having been parking cars and pumping gas in Los Angeles for a year.

    Ellie is Tyrone’s friend.

Just kidding, she’s done some stuff too. Most recently she originated the role of Miss Ulrike in Stiles and Drewe’s newest musical Identical. Other credits include The Game Of Love And Chance (Arcola Outside), Posh (UK tour), The Daughter In Law (Arcola Theatre), Soldier On (UK tour, The Other Palace), Honk! (UK tour, Union Theatre) and Shakespeare In Love (Noël Coward Theatre)

Film and TV includes Eastenders, Doctors, Presence Of Love, Chubby Funny and Cracks.

When no one will employ her Ellie writes and performs an entirely self indulgent series of concerts called Ellie Nunn Sings Songs At People. Some Regulars may recognise her from Ellie Nunn Sings Sondheim At People at the Crazy Coqs.
