  • Award-winning composer and lyricist Tim Connor celebrates 25 years of musical theatre writing in this moving and funny evening of songs.

Tim will be joined by dear friends Alex Young (Operation Mincemeat, Standing At The Sky’s Edge), Corrine Priest (Titanique), Lucy Schaufer (The Light In The Piazza), Nicola Sloane (London Road, Flowers For Mrs Harris), Nigel Richards (Beauty and the Beast, Floyd Collins), and musical director Chris Guard (Devil Wears Prada, Back To The Future).

Together, they will be sharing songs from Tim’s collaborations with Lia Buddle and Susannah Pearse, including selections from Heart of Winter, The Stationmaster, Ever Onward and The Bridge of San Luis Rey.

The evening will also feature the world premiere of Tim’s latest song cycle, The Optician of Lampedusa, inspired by Emma Jane Kirby’s acclaimed book.

“One of the most thrilling new scores I’ve heard from a British composer since Howard Goodall, a clear influence(but so is Adam Guettel). Step forward Tim Connor: We will be hearing a lot more from him.”ShentonStage.com
