  • Join Birgit Beer and her musicians on this fabulous musical cabaret journey, featuring songs of love from across the globe and the centuries.

After previous successful sell-out shows at Crazy Coqs, Birgit is back, reflecting on her life and loves, singing songs from musicals and films, with a smattering of operetta, plus a few of her own compositions.

Mostly uplifting, sometimes sentimental, always fun, London-based soprano, Birgit, grew up in Vienna, with a career that has seen her perform in the world’s greatest opera houses.

Birgit will be joined by her musicians: Chris Taylor on the piano, and Orpheus Leander on violin.

Lean back, have a glass of wine and enjoy!

All earnings from the night will go to the Ukrainian aid, supported by Rotary London.

  • Birgit has performed at all the major opera houses in Europe. Her celebrated interpretation of Pamina has taken her to Vienna, Bonn, Munich, Hamburg and Bern. Sir Georg Solti invited her to take part in his production of Frau ohne Schatten at the Salzburg Easter and Summer Festival where she also sang Ännchen (Freischütz in 1997). She has appeared in Verona, Liege, Antwerp, Milan, Marrakesh, Copenhagen, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Paris, the Nationaltheater in Munich, the Staatsoper in Vienna and regularly at the Semperoper Dresden.

Her major roles have included Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), Rosina (Barber of Seville), Traviata (La Traviata), Pamina (Magic Flute), Marzelline (Fidelio) and Valencienne (Merry Widow).

After years on a world stage, Birgit now prefers smaller, more intimate audiences, enjoying the personal contact and singing from a wide range of musical genres.
