Comparing Notes with Desmonda Cathabel

Comparing Notes brings stars of the West End and Broadway to Crazy Coqs. In a lively and informal mix of performance and conversation host Edward Seckerson will be getting up close and personal with these musical theatre luminaries and emerging stars, exploring the stories behind the songs and the personalities behind the artistry.

For this show, Edward will be joined by exciting young star, Desmonda Cathabel (who recently co-starred in the Sondheim Old Friends Gala at the Sondheim Theatre, and in Maria Friedman: Legacy at the Menier Chocolate Factory).

Desmonda is the recipient of the British Council GREAT Scholarship and recently moved from Indonesia to train at the Royal Academy of Music in Musical Theatre. Before coming to London, she did her undergrad in Communications Studies at Universitas Indonesia and worked for a couple of years in corporate jobs as a copywriter, until the pandemic made her take the risk of following her dreams.
