  • A worldly young woman, abandoned by her lover, wandering the snowy paths of Central Park in New York City, commentating on her broken heart and going on a journey of recovery as she finds the strength to begin her life anew… ‘December Songs’ is a masterpiece song cycle crossing the lines from classical music to Broadway to cabaret, written by one of America’s most celebrated composers-lyricists of new Broadway musicals, Maury Yeston.

Vicky Yannoula opens her thrillingly expressive cabaret show with the rich melodies and striking poetic images of ‘December Songs’. And as you thought you’ve been moved enough for the evening, you are swiftly taken on another journey, an even more dramatic and personal one. A musical portrayal of Vicky’s own love, and lust, life through a suspenseful string of unashamedly lyrical, vulnerable, romantic and powerful melodies!

Singing her heart out together with her beloved fellow performers, Robert Hunter on piano and Gianluigi Secchi on guitar. Maybe this time he’ll stay, love won’t hurry away… Giving life some sparkle and fizz… With him or without him… So much love, so much despair… But, surely, the planet spins, and the world goes ‘round!

With her magnetic presence, compelling interpretative skills and sensational vocal timbre, Vicky Yannoula will be bringing a unique and memorable musical concept to her Crazy Coqs debut.
