  • Award winning, acclaimed artist, Collette Cooper, who was first discovered by the legendary Huey Morgan on BBC 6 music announcing she was one of his favourite vocalists in the UK, will be performing her unique take on Jazz classics from Nina Simone, Art Blakey and Gershwin and folk classics from Jackson Browne plus left field jazz-infused performances of David Bowie and Roxy Music songs, along with her original compositions from her acclaimed album Lost plus a sneak preview of material from her upcoming album Fireball.

    Collette is backed by a stella ten piece band playing high energy jazz-funk, soul-blues-cinematic rock with stripped down intimate moments. Championed by BBC introducing, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, Jazz FM and many more around the world. Her inspirations go back as far as Bessie Smith and Mozart.

    Collette is an undefinable artist. She is difficult to fit into any box- she has a unique sound of her own.

    Her truly unique, haunting style and visually captivating performance is electrifying with her raw, emotional honesty. Her music is eclectic and timeless with, dark, dramatic tones, with a strong blues, folk, jazz, and cinematic rock influence.

    Her distinctive vocal style is often described as ‘Janis Joplin channelling Edith Piaf with a sprinkling of Esther Phillips’.
