  • “A new vocal sensation in the UK”– JazzFM

Marvin Muoneké has been dubbed ‘The Young Man with The Old Soul’ and once you hear his voice and style, you’ll understand why. With a rich, velvety voice that’s been likened to Nat ‘King’ Cole, Johnny Hartman, Paul Robeson and Billy Eckstine, Marvin is also a gifted songwriter, arranger and trumpet player. He has a deep understanding of the Great American Songbook and an instant rapport with audiences.

This, his first solo appearance at Crazy Coqs, is also to celebrate the release of his second single, Angel (Where The Blues Begin) with Alex Webb & The Copasetics.

His last release, Forbidden Fruit, was playlisted by Jazz FM – and you can hear both songs at this concert, alongside classics from the Great American Songbook and some sharp originals..

With recent London appearances alongside The Pocket Ellington, Mark Lockheart, Denys Baptiste, Gary Crosby, and Webb, Marvin is a name to watch.
