Mrs & Mr: Navigating Marriage and Musical Theatre

Join Mrs and Mr Ridout (né/stage name Gower-Smith… that’s right, he took her name) for a night of music and anecdotes from their attempts at navigating marriage and the musical theatre industry.

Rebecca’s been in the industry for over a decade and James is relatively new to the business-we-call-show. In fact, he only decided he wanted to be an actor after they met. Rebecca wasn’t best pleased at the time but it’s a canon event for a soprano to fall for the straight MT tenor.

Between them, they’ve been in some smash-hit musicals – ‘The Phantom of the Opera‘, ‘Wicked‘ and ‘Les Misérables‘. With musical director, Ben Ferguson (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club – he’s kind of a big deal), join us at Crazy Coqs for an evening of tales from touring, songs that have paid their mortgage, the odd soppy story/song and a right old laugh.
