    When the patriarch of the Dashwood family dies, his sensible daughter, Elinor, has to shoulder the responsibility of caring for her mother and impulsive sister, Marianne. While searching for a new home, Elinor meets and falls in love with the charming and reliable Edward Ferrars. But with Marianne chasing a rogue, Willoughby, can Elinor afford a marriage that won’t guarantee the security of her family?
