The Crazy Coqs Presents – Choose Happy! Alex Lodge ‘Intimate & Live’

Zero-time Olivier award nominee, Type 1 Diabetic and dad-joke enthusiast Alex Lodge (Jay Osmond in the original cast of The Osmonds Musical, The Time Traveller’s Wife, The Book Of Mormon, Pippin, tick, tick…BOOM! – not Les Mis or Wicked, though, he’s never booked those jobs, and he’s definitely not bitter about it) returns to Crazy Coqs for one night only with his one-man show named after a cushion – “Choose Happy” as part of The Crazy Coqs Presents… Intimate and Live series.

Produced by Mark Robert Petty and with Musical Direction by Tom Arnold, join Alex and his sensational live band, as well as some very special guests, for a fun-filled evening that’s part cabaret, part stand-up, part therapy session comprised of songs, stories and silliness as he documents his daily battle always to try and “Choose Happy”.

Special Guests:
Lucy May Barker (Mamma Mia, Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial, Sweeney Todd) once dated Alex for a week when they were both teenagers and dumped him via text. She’s very good but broke Alex’s 13-year-old heart, and he’s still not over it.

Danny Nattrass and Joseph Peacock (The Osmonds) lost a game of Poker to Alex whilst on tour and, as a result, are appearing in *Choose Happy* under duress. They are also very good and are a bit of eye candy for Alex’s mum.
