After successes on Broadway and in the West End premiere of Oklahoma!, Howard Keel became the Errol Flynn and Clark Gable of the "golden age" Hollywood movie musicals. The 6'4" brawny bass-baritone had MGM's loveliest leading ladies swooning helplessly, in what were some of the finest film musical ever produced.

Keel's star continued to shine as 'Clayton Farlow' in the hit TV soap Dallas and introduced him to a new generation of fans, which led to sell-out concerts, TV guest appearances and chart topping albums.

Whilst not a tribute or imitation show, Howard Keel: The Centennial Celebration takes you on a fascinating journey spotlighting an eclectic mix of pop ballads and musical theatre songs associated with the great man. Capturing the spirit and essence of this Hollywood legend is the acclaimed West End and international opera bass-baritone, Anthony Stuart Lloyd, dubbed as the man with the "Rolls-Royce Voice".

Through Judy Keel and the Keel estate, Anthony has had exclusive access to Keel's original sheet music from his TV and recording sessions. A bonus for the show will see Anthony team up with Howard Keel's keyboard player Paul Crew, who accompanied Keel on his UK tours and who Anthony has worked with many times in the West End.
