An intimate evening spotlighting Christian's vivid theatrical life in London and New York. This autobiographical performance features songs by Noel Coward, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox, and Al Green. These are interwoven with personal and surprising anecdotes and stories that illuminate the musical material.
Christian was a star dancer with The Joffrey Ballet in New York in the 60s and 70s. He returns to Crazy Coqs after appearances at New York's Cabaret Convention in Lincoln Center, and at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, in New York's Theatre Row, this November.
"It will be a long time before I have such and engrossing evening in the theatre (I use that word advisedly). Although it was performed in a cabaret - it was THEATRE!" - Steve Ross December 2018
"An elegant evening with wit, humour, and music. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful show! I enjoyed it so much!" - Lesley Joseph
"Christian Holder is best known as being one of the iconic dancers of the distinguished and ground-breaking Joffrey Ballet Company…As someone whose life was so heavily influenced by the dance, it pervades every inch of his being, and can be mesmerising to watch…his ability to deliver truth and drama through song enables him to captivate an audience and leave them wanting more. It's an evening of cabaret I'd certainly recommend" - Douglas Mayo, Britishtheatre.com
