New artists, emerging talent, diverse voices and brilliant musicians: this is our monthly evening devoted to spotlighting some of the best original music around, across a host of genres encompassing jazz, funk, soul, folk and pop (as well as everything in between). Our art deco basement, known for its brilliant acoustics and intimate atmosphere, is proud to showcase fine talents at affordable ticket prices – perfect for a great night out in the West End.

Max Runham is a singer-songwriter from Kent.

The evening will be a sharing of his latest music shedding light on unrequited love, ambition, his life as a disabled artist and all the wildness and silliness that ties it all together.

Max was born with one arm, making his approach to different instruments unavoidably unique. With influences from Soul, Blues and Folk, Max writes toe-tapping tunes with soaring, intricate melodies backed up by one of the tightest rhythm sections in London.
