Natasha’s compelling weave of narrative with song (arrangements by Pete Long) pays homage to the great collaborator, pianist and bandleader. Repertoire includes The A Train, Satin Doll, Sophisticated Lady and It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing.

    Natasha’s brand-new show ‘Universal Ellington, Playing Pizza Express Jazz club, SohoThe 606 Club & The Bear Club follows the success of ‘A Life in Song’ which saw Natasha fronting an all-star band in celebration of the life and music of the iconic vocalist Rosemary Clooney. Described by ‘Bebop Spoken Here’ as a “Jazz Lady at Heart”, over the years, she has amassed an impressive list of credits including as leading lady in London’s West End (‘Les Miserables’, ‘Aspects of Love’, ‘Mamma Mia’) and ‘Despina’ in Glyndebourne’s Hip H’Opera ‘School4Lovers’.

    She is joined by Clark Tracey on drums, Mike Gorman on keys and Robert Rickenberg on bass.
