Michael Auger: One Night Only

In a show exclusively devised for Crazy Coqs, follow Michael Auger‘s journey as he walks you through his musical journey growing up, choosing between accountancy or a life on the stage.

At school, Michael always struggled to choose between Maths and Music as these two subjects don’t tend to go together. There were many crossroads where Michael had to make the choice between the two, most notably in 2014 when he had the opportunity to perform for a living, in the musical theatre boyband Collabro. It appears he made the right decision as Collabro have gone on to become the most successful musical theatre vocal group in the world. However, Michael looks forward to sharing his thoughts with you all throughout these times, as life in the spotlight wasn’t exactly as he expected it to be.

Michael will be singing songs from different musical theatre shows, some that he’s never sung live before, with a live pianist and special guests too.

Michael is so excited to be appearing at Crazy Coqs as a soloist for the first time.

Michael Auger is a member of Collabro, the world’s most successful Musical Theatre vocal group.

Collabro won Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 and subsequently signed to Simon Cowell’s label Syco, becoming label-mates with the likes of One Direction and Little Mix.

Their debut album Stars, went straight in at number one in the charts and their follow up album Act Two peaked at number two in the summer of 2015.

Following this great success, Collabro went from strength to strength, releasing a further 3 albums in 3 years, alongside tours of Asia, Europe and America, securing another 3 top 10 UK albums and even completed their largest UK tour to date in 2019 performing at 52 venues on their “Road To The Royal Albert Hall”.

Individually, Michael filmed as one of the judges on BBC 1’s 8 part series of ‘All Together Now’ in 2018, alongside Spice Girl Geri Haliwell, and in 2019, Michael co-hosted West End Bares at TROXY in London alongside Graham Norton, and was asked back for their virtual show at the end of 2020.

2020 saw the release of Collabro’s first Christmas album which saw them perform on our television screens during lockdown on Jane and Friends, Songs of Praise, Love Your Weekend and the Britain’s Got Talent Christmas Spectacular (duetting with Amanda Holden).

In October 2021, Collabro completed their Greatest Hits Tour with 23 dates around the UK and were so grateful to be back in front of live audiences, before announcing their Christmas Tour for December 2022.
