For this show, Edward will be joined by rising star Cassius Hackforth (Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year finalist, The Piper of Hamelin NYMT).

  • Cassius Hackforth is an Actor and Singer based in London. Born in Massachusetts and raised in Wales, he spent the majority of his childhood enthralled in the arts. After various years of performing locally, aged 14 he auditioned for the National Youth Music Theatre, and won the title role in their UK Tour of ‘The Piper of Hamelin’, directed by Jeremy James Taylor OBE.

He spent the next few years performing in productions at venues including the Adelphi Theatre, Arts Theatre and Curve before moving to London aged 18 to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. At the age of 20 he has already appeared in various professional stage and screen projects.

Most recently, he wrapped up filming as a small part in a major Lucasfilm franchise, as well as a new Google advert for Android. He was also one of the 12 students selected from throughout the UK to perform in the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Awards, and had the honour of performing to panel of distinguished judges including Daniel Evans, Theo Jamieson, Liz Robertson, Caroline Sheen, Michael D. Xavier, and this afternoon’s host Edward Seckerson.

He feels very lucky and excited to be able to share and perform the songs and composers that mean a great deal to him, and to be joined by Edward for what promises to be a joyful afternoon!
