Making its much-anticipated annual return, London Cocktail Week is back from 13th – 23rd October.
Our team at Bar Américain have created three limited edition serves, all with a contemporary twist on a classic, incorporating both a low and no alcohol option.
The Drinks
Bobby Burns – £7
A lesser-known classic cocktail with a familiar DNA. The timeless combination of blended scotch whisky, in this case Chivas Mizunara (which is finished in Japanese Oak Casks for extra depth of flavour), and sweet vermouth, is complemented by the deep, herbal notes of Benedictine – infused with our house blend of raw cacao nibs and lemon peel.
Mauresque (low ABV) – £7
A simple highball made from Pastis, Orgeat, and soda water – a blend renowned for being the perfect Aperitif in the south of France. The addition of RinQuinQuin – a natural wine-based, peach infused liqueur – add a subtle sweetness.
La vie en rose (alcohol free) – £5
Seedlip Grove and Æcord Dry are combined with a grapefruit and rose cordial to create an elegant sipping style non-alcoholic cocktail, with notes of citrus zest, herbs and flowers.
