Following on from the success of their Jazz Pianists' Songbook show at last year's London Jazz Festival, vocalist Paul Ryan and pianist Kenny Clayton return with a second look at the contribution that jazz pianists and other instrumentalists have made to the Great American Songbook, and other repositories of the standards that the world has come to know and love.

Drawing on their vast repertoire, Ryan and Clayton will perform songs by such noted American pianists as Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael and Thelonious Monk as well as casting their net further afield to take in the Belgian harmonica master Toots Thielmans and the French crooner Sacha Distel, who was also a noted jazz guitarist and composer. So, as ever with this duo, you can expect a few surprises as well as their trademark irreverent humour.

"All the verve, vigour and joie de vivre of a couple of rakes who have lived full and interesting lives… like the jazz heroes of old!" - Rick Star,
