The Empire's favourite jazz band perform postmodern takes on British hits from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Charlie Chaplin, Elvis Costello, The Kinks, Kate Bush, Noel Coward, Anthony Newly and Queen, naturally.
Australian songstress, composer and West End actress, Simone Craddock, also performs original compositions inspired during her time in the UK, and is joined by London's finest jazz musicians in this swinging tribute to Her Majesty & The Great British Songbook.
Craddock's varied career has seen her perform to full houses across Australia, Asia, Europe, America and the West End with hit shows such as Annie, Dirty Dancing, Jesus Christ Superstar and Hello Dolly! Her own productions include Birth of the Blues, Transatlantic Jazz, Simone Swings Ella and Jazz on Film. She is the voice of several animated characters in award winning children's programmes on CBBC, Netflix and ABC, 7, 9, 10 Australia, and is well known on the London jazz scene for her sell-out shows in the capitol's best regarded jazz clubs.
