Their individual careers have included performances at Ronnie Scott's Club, the Royal Festival Hall, on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night Is Music Night, and in theatres, jazz clubs and festivals all over the world. In this show they come together to celebrate two musical icons, Peggy Lee and Ella Fitzgerald. Together with pianist Geoff Castle, they deliver a top notch evening of great music, including all time favourites Summertime, That Old Black Magic and so many more... without neglecting some of the lesser-known gems. Between songs they tell their favourite anecdotes about the divas' turbulent personal lives and paths to fame.
Sarah and Shireen's exuberant mix of close harmonies and stunning solo work shows why they have both established themselves as jazz singers of the first order. Each brings a contrasting and original take on their chosen repertoire, from the understated purr of Fever and Black Coffee, to the infectious swing of The Lady Is A Tramp and Cheek To Cheek.
