Anglo-American songstress, Sarah Gillespie, has received wide-spread critical acclaim for her three albums that mix elements of jazz, folk and blues with her trademark streetwise lyricism.

She's toured extensively in the USA, Europe and the UK playing theatres, arts centres, festivals and venues building a snowballing fanbase enchanted by, what critics have described as, her "outstanding and explosive" live shows.

Gillespie has performed live on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour, Loose Ends, Start the Week with Andrew Marr, received airplay on BBC Radio 2, Radio 3 and Public Radio in the USA. Her debut collection of poetry, Queen Ithaca Blues, was published in November 2017 by Albion Press.

For one night only at Crazy Coqs, Gillespie is playing a one off intimate duo performance with acclaimed composer and pianist, Tom Cawley.
