We all know the hits but what about the songs that slipped by unnoticed? Following sell out performances last year with A Glamorous Life?, award winning actress and presenter, Sandy Walsh, returns to Crazy Coq with a unique show that looks at hidden gems alongside well known favourites.

In an exciting collaboration with musical director Tom Wakely (Aspects of Love, Phantom of The Opera, Miss Saigon and Chicago), Sandy brings you an eclectic mix by well known composers and poets including Jerome Kern, Duke Ellington, Frederick Loewe, Jimmy Webb, Joni Mitchell, Dorothy Parker and EE Cummings. There will also be an interview with a special guest about the life and work of Joni Mitchell in this, her 75th year.

Sandy's diverse career has ranged from starring in Blood Brothers in the West End to playing the matriarch Francis Marsden in Emmerdale. She has written and performed in one woman shows which have won her awards and critical acclaim in London and Edinburgh.

As a sony award winning presenter, Sandy has interviewed numerous politicians, writers and artists including Barbara Castle, Terry Waite and Benjamin Zephaniah.
