Renato D’Aiello Quintet

Renato's quintet is a vibrant new band featuring some of the best artists/musicians in jazz business today and the award winner singer Deelee Dube.

We are going to revisit some of the most popular American standards.

Renato D'aiello tenor sax. Host of Acoustic Jazz Lounge on Monday upstairs at Ronnie Scott . Studied with Tony Scott, Sal Nistico. Has played with Art Farmer, Sal Nistico, Rachel Gould, Bruce Forman, Alain Jean Marie and many others.

Deelee Dube, london born singer/songwriter. Deelee has been the resident singer at Acoustic Jazz Lounge on Monday upstairs at Ronnie Scott for the last two years and is the winner of the prestigious 2016 Sarah Vaughan Competition.

Pianist and organist Renato Chicco, born in 1962, studied at the University of Music in Graz, Austria, and at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While living in New York City (1990 -1998) he was a member of the Lionel Hampton Orchestra (1991-1992) and pianist and musical director with Jon Hendricks & Company (1991-1997). Being active on the New York scene during that time, Renato played in clubs like the Blue Note, Birdland and the Village Gate, took part of radio and TV shows (with Lionel Hampton and Jon Hendricks), performed in festivals and clubs all over the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.

Bassist Nicola Muresu has been playing with so many American icons including: Benny Golson, Lee Konitz, Art Farmer, Goerge Cables, Steve Grossman, Steve Lacy, Diane Schurr Al Foster and many other

Alfonso Vitale, Italian drummer. Ex enfant prodige, Alfonso starte playing the drums at age 3 and at 12 was already playing professionally. Resident in London he is the house drummer at Acoustic Jazz Lounge at Ronnie Scott and he is becoming a very much in demand drummer in London.
