Private Hire Terms and Conditions
1. Terms
All reservations for the The Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zédel, provisional or confirmed, are made upon, and are subject to, the following Terms & Conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing with Brasserie Zédel. Written confirmation (via email or post) will confirm acceptance of Brasserie Zédel's Terms & Conditions.
2. Interpretation
In these Terms & Conditions "The Crazy Coqs" means Corbin & King Restaurant Group Ltd., trading as Brasserie Zédel Ltd. and the "Client" means the person, firm or company booking The Crazy Coqs.
3. Law
These Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to English Law.
4. Confirmation and Deposit
A written confirmation and a deposit of 50% of the minimum spend will be required from the Client to guarantee a booking. The deposit can be paid by cheque (made payable to Brasserie Zédel Ltd) or credit card. Final confirmation is required one week in advance of the event, at which point the remaining 50% of the minimum spend will be charged.
5. Cancellation
This deposit will be non-refundable if cancellation is within 4 weeks of your event; otherwise you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of your deposit. We will use our best endeavours to secure a replacement booking in which case we will refund the full deposit, less any consequential loss. Brasserie Zédel will be entitled to cancel the booking at any time by written notice to the Client if the Client is in breach of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions. Cancellation of confirmed events shall only be accepted when received in writing.
6. Numbers
Confirmation of final numbers is required 72 hours prior to the
date of the event.
If the number attending is greater than the maximum capacity of the
room, Brasserie Zédel will be under no obligation to provide
facilities or cater for the additional numbers.
7. Service Charge
A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to the Client's bill on all consumable items.
8. Minimum Spend
There is a minimum spend charge on room hire, food and drink, including service charge.
9. Payment
Any outstanding payment for an event must be made in full at the
end of the event.
All major credit card details are accepted. All payments must be
paid in pounds sterling and are subject to Value Added Tax at the
current rate. Invoicing is subject to prior approval from the
Directors of Brasserie Zédel.
10. Timings
The Crazy Coqs is available for private hire by special
arrangement:
from 8am until 6pm
Use of the room outside the above times can be discussed and
confirmed on a case by case basis.
The function shall start and finish in accordance with the timings
specified or agreed in writing.
Brasserie Zédel reserves the right to charge the Client
additionally for use of the room after the specified time.
11. Menus & Wine List
Menus are based on seasonal availability and are subject to change. We require all guests to choose a set menu of the same starter, main course, dessert and if required cheese course for all guests. We do cater for dietary requirements and kindly ask to be advised of these in advance. The wine list is subject to price and vintage changes throughout the year. Any menu and wine changes shall be relayed to the client. In order to fully prepare for your reservation we require menu and wines choices to be confirmed 7 days prior to the date of the function. Only food produced by the Brasserie Zédel kitchen is permitted for consumption on the premises.
12. Flowers
Flowers are not provided, although Brasserie Zédel can recommend a florist if you so require.
13. Equipment

14. Brasserie zedel Premises
The Client will ensure that:
No damage is caused to Brasserie Zédel, its fittings, decorations
and furnishings.
The conduct of its guests does not cause any nuisance or offence to
other persons or guests visiting Brasserie Zédel.
The client is to ensure that the guests do not access the bar after
the event.
Photography is not permitted in the Crazy Coqs.
Any items belonging to the restaurant remain on the premises.
The guests fully comply with emergency procedures should the need
arise.
