Phoebe Ray

"The voice of an angel" - Chris Evans, BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show

A play on BBC Radio 2's breakfast show was just the start of things for London-born musician Phoebe Ray. Having met Chris Evans at a charity event, he loved her voice so much that he played her unmastered demo on primetime radio to unanimous praise.

Classically trained, but inclined towards the contemporary, Ray writes "beautifully bittersweet pop melodies" (Indie Shuffle) expressing at all times an emotional honesty and lyrical sincerity.

Her previous single Drops of Bliss, from her debut EP PREP received acclaim from Planet Notion, Wonderland, The 405 and SBTV to name a few.

Citing Jessie Ware, Tove Lo, and Halsey among her current influences, Ray is primed to join the ranks of solo female artists currently storming the music scene.
