Back by popular demand, Peter Straker returns to Crazy Coqs.
There was a time you would find Straker recording with his friend and colleague Freddie Mercury, touring with his band singing rock music, and starring on the West End stage (which indeed you still can do), but Straker loves to sing Jacques Brel. Brel's vivid music is in the hands of a master, his voice caressing and corrupting.
Accompanied by Gulliver Ralston on piano, he breathes new life into Amsterdam, Brussels, and If You Go Away.
"An evening that's impossible to forget, Straker exhibits all the shameless savour-fare of… a seasoned diva" - Evening Standard
