Parky's back but not as you know it!
The Parkinson show will be brought back to life but with a neat twist. This time the Grand Master has handed his talking stick to his youngest son, Mike Parkinson. Fresh from a sell-out tour of their show An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson, father and son have been keen to bring back the kind of talk show missing from our current media landscape for too long. Having honed his skills interviewing his father on tour, Parkinson is ready to step up to the plate and interview talented practitioners from every branch of the arts.
Guest for 13 March: Barrie Rutter
Outspoken and bristling with honest opinion, this will be a fascinating interview with a complex but visionary man. Rutter set up the Northern Broadsides company in 1992, and 25 years later he's still producing ground breaking productions.
