"An exciting evening out has been added to the list of London's hottest events... A fabulous night out." Cabaret Scenes

Fancy a turn under that spotlight, on that stage?
Join Harold Sanditen, jazz-cabaret singer and veteran theatre producer, host of this weekly event, ably supported by regular musicians Michael Roulston on piano and Jonty Fisher on bass, for an entertaining evening full of fun and surprise.

Aimed at both the jazz and theatrical communities, The Crazy Coqs Open Mic Night welcomes all singers, composers and musicians, up & coming and established, who want to do a turn, performing new material or old favourites.

For the audience, come and catch that proverbial 'rising star' (or possibly a famous West End name) in the intimate, "jewel-box" surroundings of The Crazy Coqs.

For performers:
* Buy a ticket - £5 only - online in advance.
* The doors open at 10pm, with the show starting promptly at 10.30pm and lasting until midnight.
* Sign up on the night directly with Harold Sanditen and let him know your choice of song, to avoid any duplication.
* Bring your music charts, whether you are a singer or musician, for both piano and bass, (preferably in the right key!). These can be sheet music or lead sheets.
* Tell the pianist and bass player the feel of the song just prior to performing it.
* You are welcome to bring your own accompanist, if you prefer.
* Composers who want to showcase new songs and use the bass player should bring bass charts.
* This is a purely musical Open Mic and is not for stand-up comedy.
* The emphasis of the evening will be on having fun; lengthy, slit-your-wrist ballads will be actively discouraged.

For the rest of you:
* Buy a ticket - £5 only - online in advance.
* Turn up, order a drink, applaud loudly and be generally encouraging.
* Have a good time.

Before and during the shows, cocktails, wines, champagnes and snacks are available. We would also encourage you to enjoy a meal in the Brasserie before or after a performance.
